Would you like to learn how to get started building an online mapping system? This workshop will introduce attendees to the components of a complete, open-source web mapping solution. The course will include an introduction to spatial analysis with PostGIS, loading and serving data with GeoServer, map optimization with GeoWebCache, styling with SLD, composing and publishing maps with GeoExplorer, and creating your own web map applications with OpenLayers and GeoExt.
